The Church of God Ministerial Internship Program (MIP) is a training program designed to equip individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in ministry. The program is offered by the Church of God, Cleveland Tennessee, a global Pentecostal denomination that has a presence in over 180 countries around the world. The MIP program provides a structured curriculum that covers a wide range of ministry-related topics, including theology, preaching, pastoral care, evangelism, leadership, and more. The program is designed to be a comprehensive learning experience that prepares participants for the challenges of ministry. The MIP program is open to both men and women who have a strong desire to serve in ministry. Participants are required to have completed the CAMS course. They are also required to have a recommendation from their local church congregation.
The program in Mississippi is run by the Mississippi Church of God State Licensure Board. The curriculum is divided into several modules that cover different aspects of ministry. Each module includes classroom instruction, hands-on experience, and mentoring from experienced pastors and leaders. The MIP program is designed to be a challenging and rewarding experience that prepares participants for a lifetime of ministry. Graduates of the program are well-equipped to serve in a variety of ministry roles, including pastoral leadership, evangelism, youth ministry, and more.
