On September 11, Dr. Perkins, our Administrative Bishop, and the Mississippi State Council gathered to discuss the groundbreaking changes from the recent General Assembly of the Church of God. Among these transformative updates, the was officially launched, marking a new chapter in our mission to spread the Gospel throughout Mississippi and beyond!
We are thrilled to announce that Pastor Don Hooper, a seasoned leader with a deep passion for souls, has been elected to lead this powerful initiative. Don will continue to serve as the lead pastor of Destiny Church in Hattiesburg while taking on this vital role in the Ministry of Evangelism, bringing his wealth of experience and leadership to this exciting new ministry.
This is just the beginning! As we move forward with bold faith and vision, we can’t wait to see how God will use this ministry to transform lives across the state. Together, we’re igniting a movement; we eagerly anticipate the great things God has in store for us.
