My sweet daddy....Rev. John N Blaine passed away unexpectedly the day before Christmas Eve on December 23, 2022. He was a Church of God preacher since before I was born, I am his baby daughter and I'm now 40. He retired from preaching about 7 years ago.....but he didn't really retire. The day before he passed away he was preaching to whoever would listen....about the end times are near, and Jesus is coming soon....if you don't have your life right with God now...not to wait till he returns because it will be too late by then. That is a very true statement.
My daddy and his wife, my momma, Velma Blaine, has always had the strongest faith than anyone I've ever known. He kept that faith and his relationship with the Good Lord above until he took his last breath....now he's made whole with a brand new body.
Any one of you that knew him at the Youth Camps and Camp Meeting....knew the man of God he was.
As he always said.....he's not home yet.....well, he is now home. He is at peace. He is not hurting anymore. I rejoice knowing that i will see my daddy again one sweet day and dance on the streets of gold.
Please keep my family in your prayers....most of all my sweet momma, Sis Velma Blaine....she is here on earth without her best friend by her side. He was my best friend, my buddy....he will be missed tremendously.
